Stefon Diggs, Cardi B Breakup Rumors Spark After They Unfollow Each Other

Sunday is a day that New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs would presumably like to forget.

The former All-Pro wideout and the Pats lost Super Bowl LX to the Seattle Seahawks — a game in which he caught just 3 passes for 37 yards and had little impact on the outcome.

He was also involved in a scuffle in the fourth quarter after getting shoved to the ground by Seahawks cornerback Josh Jobe — a cheap shot that happened out of bounds that prompted Diggs to chase him down. Jobe also threw a punch at Diggs moments later.

And if that weren’t enough, there’s also growing speculation that Diggs and his girlfriend Cardi B broke up after Super Bowl LX.

In the aftermath of New England’s Super Bowl loss, a downtrodden Diggs answered questions about the disappointment he felt of falling just short of winning his first Super Bowl championship.

While Diggs was fielding questions in the locker room, it was reported on social media that both he and Cardi B had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

“Super Bowl loss was bad, but getting unfollowed by Cardi right after might be the real dagger Offset somewhere popping champagne,” one fan posted.

Some speculated the couple may breakup because of the legal issues Diggs is about to face. His court date is in 5 days, which was pushed back until after the Super Bowl, where he faces charges of felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery.

Diggs has denied the accusations from his former personal chef, in which she claimed he slapped her and tried to choke her because of a dispute about her salary.

Others are speculating a breakup may have happened after Diggs’ ex-girlfriend Sky Marlene posted a video of him on social media just days before the Super Bowl, though there has been no credible reporting on the situation or any confirmation that Diggs was, in fact, spending time with her.

Cardi B’s Ice-Cold Message to Stefon Diggs

Fans suspected something was up with Cardi B and Diggs before the Super Bowl, thanks to a video that circulated on social media of an awkward interview the hip hop singer had hours before the game.

“One inspiring message for Stefon before the game — one inspiring message you have for him,” a reporter asked her.

“Good luck,” Cardi said coyly with a cold grin on her face to suggest she wasn’t thrilled with the question.

Fans immediately flooded the comments, speculating that if the couple wasn’t already broken up, they were certainly headed that way.
