JUST IN: Offset Catch Spotted With Anok Yai A Day After Friend Exposed How Chrisean Rock Slept With Him And Left Ring For Cardi B To Notice As Romance Heat Up
OFFSET seems to be moving on with a new woman after wife Cardi B filed for divorce in the summer. At the start of August, news broke that on-off couple Cardi B and Offset had called it quits for a final time.
The two rapping sensations got married in 2017 and welcomed three children together: daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6; son Wave Set Cephus, 3; and an as-yet-unnamed daughter who arrived in September.
Since their divorce was announced, Offset, 32, has been rumored to be dating several women, with the latest lady in question being a famous model.
The rapper was recently seen with 26-year-old Egyptian model Anok Yai – although not all fans are convinced something is going on between the pair.
Romance rumors began to swirl after video footage of the pair started circulating online.In the clip, Anok could be seen sitting in a car while chatting to Offset.
The model, who was born on December 20, 1997, in Cairo, looked happy as she chatted with the rapper, smiling sweetly while he spoke before he turned to walk away.
Reacting to the clip online, one person said: “She’s so pretty! Been obsessed with her.” “This a major upgrade,” swooned another.
While a third gushed: “Major win.”
But not everyone was convinced that the pair were romantically linked.
“They prolly just doing a video, stop reaching,” said one.
While another echoed: “Just because he’s having a conversation? I’m confused.”
The model attended Plymouth State University where she was discovered during Howard University’s homecoming in 2017 when a photo of her went viral.
IMG Models then reached out and scouted the star, with her breakthrough moment coming when she opened a Prada fashion show, becoming the first model of Sudanese descent to do so.
As well as walking for Prada, she also appeared in the Prada SS 2018 campaign and a Nike campaign designed by Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci.
On her breakthrough moment, she told Vogue: “It was an honor and I’m proud that I was the one chosen to open, but this is bigger than me. Me opening for one of the top fashion houses is a statement to the world – especially for black women – that their beauty is something that deserves to be celebrated.”
Anok has appeared on the cover or numerous fashion magazines since her rise to fame, including i-D and Vogue.
Since 2023, Anok has been chosen by both the industry and fans as Model of the Year, and USA Top Model 2024.
Offset was previously accused of cheating on Cardi, 32, although when their final split was revealed, insiders claimed that was not the reason behind it.
“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do,” a source told Page Six at the time.
The source also claimed that the divorce didn’t catch Offset off guard as they’ve “been trying to figure out what their future looks like for a while now”.
“It’s not something that happened overnight… They’ve both been on the same page.
“There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart, and that feeling has gotten stronger over time.
“It’s become unavoidable,” the insider said.
