The 30-year-old ‘WAP’ rapper was seen being pushed in a wheelchair by her entourage around American Dream Mall in New Jersey last weekend after celebrating her son’s birthday.
The WAP hitmaker, who is known for her bold fashion sense, made sure all eyes were on her as she styled a quirky furry white bunny hat.
The star completed her fashionable look with a white Vetements cropped T-shirt, baggy distressed jeans and pink boots.
Matching her boots to her pink Louis Vuitton bag and her long pink locks, the star showed off her blossoming baby bump as she prepares to welcome her third child with estranged husband Offset, who was also present at the party.
According to a passerby, Cardi was surrounded by an entourage of 20 to 30 people as she celebrated her son Wave’s third birthday.
Taking to Instagram to shares some snaps from the birthday party, Cardi looked ever the proud mother as she posed with Wave.
She captioned the snap: ‘Happy birthday to my son Wavey Man. I was soo happy when I found I was having a baby then all of a sudden I got so scared when I found out I was having a boy I’m such a girly girl.
‘You make it easy tho getting into that sporty mom bag. My baby love his momma soo much. I’ll always have your back, front and sides BIG WAVE’.
It comes after reports Cardi and he estranged husband Offset are not salvaging their marriage, despite their friendly display at Wave’s birthday party.
According to TMZ, the couple are moving forward with divorce plans.
The couple reunited to celebrate their three-year-old boy at DreamWorks Water Park inside American Dream mall in East Rutherford, NJ.
In addition to Wave, the music artists share daughter Kulture, six, and are currently expecting a third child.
Sources told the outlet the soon-to-be divorcees have never discussed not being around the kids at the same time due to their amicable co-parenting.
Cardi announced her pregnancy on Thursday, August 1, one day after she filed for divorce from the Migos member.
She previously initiated a divorce in September 2020, but backtracked on the decision two months later.
A rep told People that the latest filing is ‘not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming.’
A friend of the expectant mother also told the publication that the divorce filing is ‘something that they had been discussing and talking about for a while.’
The person explained, ‘It wasn’t like, “Oh, she woke up one day, some incident happened, and this was it.” She’s been very calm about everything, and she’s focused on her kids.
‘She is excited about this new baby, and she’s recording, so everything with her is actually pretty good.’
It was added that the two musicians, who have often collaborated on songs, have had issues for ‘at least a year or so.’
The insider described the breakup as ‘amicable’ and noted that Cardi’s ‘friends just want her to be happy.’
