A few months ago, Cardi B appeared on Jay Shetty’s popular podcast where she opened up about being married to Offset as he faced a number of cheating allegations.
Cardi B said, “I was saying, ‘You know what? I can’t go through this anymore. I have to put a stop to it.’ But when I said I was going to put a stop to it — because you can say you’re going to put a stop to it, and you could go a month without being around somebody.”
The “Am I the Drama?” artist added, “It’s not when you say so. It’s when your heart says so. I kept telling myself, ‘I would not contact this person for a month. I would not give in. I would not forgive this easily. I would not go back. I would not go to the pattern. I would not go through it.”
Cardi B added, “But I was crying every day. I was hurt every day. I was thinking about it every single day. But when your heart is not done, your heart is not done.”
Cardi B and Offset separated a couple of times before she finally announced their divorce in October 2024 after having three children together.
