Cardi B Break Social Media Silence To Send Clear Strong Message To Fans Over Married Again After Reported Been 4TH Month Pregnant
Cardi B says she’s open to marrying again following her split from Offset and after reports claimed been pregnant for over fourth month.
While co-hosting Today with Jenna & Friends on Tuesday, Sept. 16, the rapper, 32, revealed that she could see herself walking down the aisle again someday.
“Yeah. I would get married again,” she said. “I believe in love. I’m a hopeless romantic.”
Cardi then took a moment to gush about the new man in her life, boyfriend Stefon Diggs. After co-host Jenna Bush Hager asked her, “Are the sparks sparking?” she replied, “Sparkling, honey. Fourth of July!”
The Grammy winner then shared her initial impression of the NFL star, 31, when they first met.
“I thought he was cute. I was like, ‘Oh, he gotta be mine,’ ” she told Bush Hager, 43, who then asked Cardi if she reached out to Diggs or simply ran into him.
“No, you’re not supposed to just reach out to a man!” Cardi said, sharing that they met through mutual friends.
The rapper said that since she began dating Diggs, a wide receiver for the New England Patriots, “Life’s more like an expression.”
“It’s more like [tongue over lips, smiling],” she added.
Cardi also shared that Diggs has made a football fan out of her. “I be on the screen on Sunday every day cursing people out. ‘Pass the ball!’ ” she joked.
She said she has yet to catch one of Diggs’ games live, however, as she’s been busy preparing for the Sept. 19 release of her new album, Am I the Drama?
“But after this whole album thing,” she said, “I’m going to every single game, every single one of them.”
Cardi and Diggs were first linked in October 2024 and confirmed their relationship in June 2025. In a cover story interview with Billboard, published Sept. 3, the “Up” singer revealed how she’s been inspired by her athlete boyfriend’s disciplined routine.
“The one thing I’ve been learning [from Diggs] is to be more organized and not complain,” she told the outlet.
“He has to do two different things: learn his playbook and get physical. He has to be in bed at a certain time and wake up at a certain time,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh. You’re literally in the military. You really work hard.’ “
Cardi continued: “I work hard, but I can take a little break. I can lie back and I don’t have to be running, but it’s very inspirational to see how hard somebody works. It’s just like, ‘Wow. You should be proud of yourself.’ “
While Cardi says she would marry again, her ex Offset, 33, recently declared that he’s “one and done” when it comes to marriage. “I’ve done it. Had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete,” he said.
Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024 after six years of marriage. “It’s not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming,” a representative for the “Bodak Yellow” rapper told PEOPLE at the time.
Hours after the divorce news broke, Cardi announced on Instagram that she was pregnant with her third child with Offset, daughter Blossom, who was born in September 2024. The two also share daughter Kulture, 7, and son Wave 3.
Cardi previously filed for divorce from Offset in September 2020, but the pair later called it off.
