Cardi B Break Social Media Silence To Reveals Painful Neck Piercing As The Newest Addition To Her Body-art Collection
Cardi B has never shied away from making a statement with her body art.
Recently, the rapper took that reputation another step further during a visit to Precision Body Piercings in New York City.
The 33-year-old Grammy winner added four new dermal implant piercings to her ever-growing collection.
The time, she went for two glittering diamond studs placed at the nape of her neck and another pair anchored in her lower back.
The new additions come just one month after the birth of her fourth child.
Studio owner Robbie Milian inserted the dermal anchors just beneath the surface of her tattooed skin. Milian—one of New York’s most in-demand piercing specialists—worked swiftly, carefully positioning the diamonds to sit flush against her neck and lower back.
This isn’t Cardi’s first adventure with subdermal bling. The Don’t Do Too Much rapper already sports a dermal stud beneath her left eye, a look she debuted years ago.
Cardi’s body-modification stories have practically become legend within her fanbase.
Earlier this year, on January 27, she revealed on Twitter that she had even pierced her butt crack with a $13,000 diamond piece that ultimately ended in disaster when it made an unexpected exit ‘down the toilet.’
‘It cost me like, $13,000 because it was real diamonds,’ Cardi told Alex Cooper on an episode of Call Her Daddy.
She continued: ‘And guess what? It went down the toilet. It was like a month. It was like, “Hold on.” I was looking around, I was looking at my pants and my panties and stuff and I’m like, “Yep, went down the toilet.”‘
She told Cooper that she may get it redone at some point, but so far: ‘I just haven’t been in the mood.’
Cardi’s latest bold style choice comes just weeks after she gave birth to her fourth child.
The Bodak Yellow hitmaker quietly welcomed baby number four with her boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs, 31.
Cardi first confirmed her pregnancy in September, telling Gayle King at the time that she felt ‘very strong and powerful’, as well as ‘excited’ to expand her brood.
Cardi, who has children Kulture, Wave, and Blossom with estranged husband Offset, shared a video of herself in an all-black ensemble following the birth, lip-syncing and strutting to her tune Hello, from her recently released record.
Her caption began: ‘My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season.’
Addressing her personal struggles, she continued: ‘Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it!
‘I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.’
‘This next chapter is Me vs. Me!’, she declared proudly. ; ‘It’s me against all odds me against everything meant to get in my way.’
