Cardi B Break Social Media Silence By Shows Off Estimated $231,000 in Christmas Gifts from Offset Back in 2018
While many Americans were grateful for the Target gift cards stuffed into their Christmas stockings, Cardi B was absolutely delighted with the haul she received from her estranged husband Offset, which included Cartier diamonds and designer handbags and shoes.
In fact, the 26-year-old “Money” rapper was so delighted that she showed off her gifts in an Instagram story she posted Wednesday.
Page Six estimated that the combined value of the gifts is around $231,000 — enough to buy a regular American family a nice house or condo, through not in the Bay Area or in Cardi B’s hometown of New York City.
Cardi B started off her video of her Offset gifts by panning over her new collection of Hermes purses. Cardi B announced that she and the Migos singer were splitting up earlier this month, though he has been on a campaign to win her back, including by crashing her performance in Los Angeles to declare his love, People reported.
Offset also publicly apologized on Instagram with a lengthy post, People said. The couple enjoyed a romantic date, riding a jet ski together in Puerto Rico Friday, but Cardi B insisted that they just met up for sex and weren’t getting back together, Complex reported.
But now Offset is showing his love for Cardi B by lavishing pricey gifts on her.
Page Six noted that Cardi B’s new purse collection includes a $21,950 Hermès Birkin handbag, a $19,950 Hermès Birkin in bubblegum pink and a $68,800 Hermès Birkin in “lime matte alligator with palladium hardware.” But Offset also “threw in a couple of Chanel bags for good measure,” Page Six added.
Cardi B also received new red-bottom, $1,295 Christian Louboutin boots, $1,295 Follies Strass sparkly pumps, and other designer shoes. Moreover, she flaunted a wrist full of “mega-carat” diamond bracelets, including two diamond-encrusted Cartier watches which retail for $43,000 each, Page Six said.
Perhaps, Cardi B was inspired to show off her Christmas haul after Jade, the 22-year-old strip club bartender whom she believes slept with Offset, took to Instagram earlier this week to boast that she had received a $250,000 Mercedes SUV as an early Christmas present.
Jade claimed that the tank-like Mercedes came from her rapper boyfriend Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is in federal custody waiting a September trial on racketeering and gang-related charges.
Before his arrest, Tekashi hired Jade and her sister Baddie G to appear in his music video with his “Fefe” collaborator Nicki Minaj, who also is Cardi B’s enemy.
Cardi B also is facing legal troubles, in her case for allegedly ordering an attack on Jade and Baggie G in August because she was angry that Jade had supposedly slept with Offset. Cardi B turned herself into police in October.
