BREAKING: Court Drop Huge Statement On Stefon Diggs Assaulting Personal Chef Days After Patriots’ Super Bowl Loss

Stefon Diggs has pleaded not guilty to the alleged assault of his personal chef just days after playing in the Super Bowl.
The 32-year-old New England Patriots star appeared in front of a judge in Dedham District Court on Friday over allegations that he slapped and attempted to choke his chef during a dispute over pay on December 2, 2025.
He is facing charges of felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery over the alleged incident.
After entering the not-guilty plea at Friday’s arraignment, Mitchell Schuster, who is part of Diggs’ legal team, told reporters: ‘We’re confident that after the facts and evidence are reviewed in this case, he will be completely exonerated.’
Previously, Diggs’ now-former lawyers said they were trying to resolve the case through a financial settlement with his chef.
As he arrived in court on Friday, there was no sign of girlfriend Cardi B as rumors continue to swirl over a potential break-up.
The NFL wide receiver made his court appearance less than a week after playing in New England’s miserable defeat at Super Bowl LX.
The Seattle Seahawks ran out comfortable 29-13 winners in Santa Clara, with Diggs only recording three catches for 37 yards in the loss.
Dedham police accused Diggs of striking and choking the woman who worked as his personal chef over the first months of his debut season with the Patriots. The alleged incident is said to have taken place during a financial disagreement.
The Daily Mail has chosen not to identify the accuser.
Diggs has since been named in an unrelated defamation lawsuit stemming from a 2024 incident in Florida. The plaintiff, a former business partner, claims he falsely accused him of stealing a Ferrari. The accuser claims he was attacked at a night club in 2025 over those false allegations.
As if the Super Bowl, assault charges and lawsuit weren’t enough, Diggs is also at the center of fierce speculation over his relationship with rapper Cardi B.
Reports have surfaced claiming the couple has split following the birth of their first child, a boy. Curiously, they recently unfollowed each other on social media to fuel the rumors.
Following days of speculation, Diggs shared a cryptic message on Instagram, disabling the comments on the mysterious post.
‘Gratitude and Fear cannot coexist in the same space… a reminder to control what you can control, remain thankful and stay motivated,’ he wrote in the caption.
The post featured a number of photos from the Patriots’ playoff run, including multiple of him arriving at stadiums on various game days.
Cardi B first raised eyebrows when she delivered a frosty pregame message to her boyfriend before the Super Bowl.
When approached by an ESPN reporter before kickoff and asked to share an ‘inspiring message to Stefon’, the Grammy-winning artist appeared unimpressed.
Cardi smirked, paused, and offered a curt: ‘Good luck,’ before walking off without adding anything further.
She appeared to drop another big hint that the couple was no longer together when she took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a recap of her game day experience.
Many fans pointed out that she had nothing to say about New England’s loss. Instead, she shared a video of herself dancing at the game after she was one of the many stars who made surprise appearances for Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
